Peace Tower 100th Anniversary
Our esteemed judges, Julian Joliffe and Ken Crawford selected the top three winners of the Peace Tower Contest in each category. Winners each took home a cash prize, a custom-made charcuterie board, and Glenn Wenzel’s latest book, “On Peace and Friendship”.

On Peace and Friendship Exhibit
On Peace and Friendship, an exhibit honoring the 100th anniversary of the Frank A. Miller Peace Tower and Friendship Bridge is a special project coordinated by The Friends of Mt. Rubidoux, and the Mission Inn Foundation and Museum.
Discover the history of the Peace Tower and Frank A. Miller through historic and contemporary photographs and artworks curated by Nancy Wenzel. The exhibit will run through mid-February.
The Mission Inn Foundation and Museum is located at 3598 Main Street in Riverside.
What have we been up to recently?
The Friends of Mt. Rubidoux, Riverside African American Historical Society, and Riverside Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department closed out Black History Month on Friday, February 28, 2025 @ 2:00 pm with a special commemorative event. A bronze tablet was placed near the summit of Mount Rubidoux, honoring the 1914 visit of Booker T. Washington, the renowned educator, orator, and advocate for African American advancement, alongside his host, Frank A. Miller, the founder of the Mission Inn.
