Speakers

The Friends of Mt. Rubidoux has an educational program describing the history, natural resources, and recreational possibilities of Frank A. Miller Mt. Rubidoux Memorial Park.

Third grade elementary classes regularly study local history. Speakers from Friends of Mt. Rubidoux often participate in these classes, as do Park Rangers. Students view a slide show presentation and receive an educational coloring book describing Frank A. Miller Mt. Rubidoux Memorial Park. They are also given a Mt. Rubidoux lapel pin. Occasionally, a field trip is scheduled in the park to complete the lesson.

In addition to third graders, speakers are available to address civic groups, visiting dignitaries and exchange students, and any assembly of individuals who are interested in learning more about Frank A. Miller Mt. Rubidoux Memorial Park.
